Terms & Conditions for Employment
Employment Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all employees of IAS Circle, including its associated units and departments, as applicable. Every employee is required to comply with the following rules and organisational policies.
1. Attendance, Punctuality & Late Arrival
- All employees working from the office must report at the prescribed reporting time and maintain punctuality.
- Employees arriving 20 minutes or more late without prior approval or a valid reason may be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the organisation’s attendance policy.
- Repeated late arrivals, unauthorised absences, or failure to follow attendance rules may result in appropriate disciplinary measures, subject to applicable law and company policy.
- Any salary deduction or penalty must be lawful, proportionate, and communicated to the employee in advance.
2. Accuracy of Information & Verification of Documents
- All employees must provide accurate, complete, and genuine information in their CVs, application forms, declarations, and other employment-related documents.
- Submission of fake, forged, misleading, or falsified documents, or deliberate misrepresentation of educational qualifications, work experience, previous employment, or other material information, will be treated as serious misconduct.
- If any such discrepancy is established following verification and a fair opportunity for the employee to respond, IAS Circle reserves the right to initiate disciplinary proceedings, including termination of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
- Any recovery, withholding, or cancellation of salary or other payments shall be subject to applicable law and the employee’s contractual entitlements.
3. Submission of Mandatory Documents
- Every employee must submit the documents required for employment verification and official records, including, where applicable:
- Government-issued identity proof, such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or another valid identity document.
- Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets.
- Previous employment experience letters, relieving letters, or other relevant employment records.
- Any other documents reasonably required for verification, payroll processing, or statutory compliance.
- Employees who have not submitted the required documents must complete the submission on or before the fifth calendar day from their date of joining, unless an extension is approved by the authorised HR representative.
- Employees must promptly inform HR if any document is unavailable or delayed and provide an explanation along with an expected submission date.
- Any delay in salary processing due to missing documents will be handled in accordance with applicable wage-payment laws. Submission of documents does not remove the organisation’s obligation to pay wages that are legally due.
4. Amendment of Organisational Policies
- IAS Circle reserves the right to introduce, revise, amend, or withdraw its internal policies, rules, procedures, and employee guidelines from time to time for operational efficiency, employee welfare, compliance, and organisational development.
- Any changes will be communicated to employees through an appropriate official channel and will take effect from the notified date.
- No amendment shall override applicable labour laws, statutory rights, or the terms of an employee’s valid employment agreement.
